The first sibling in our Elberberry shrubbery offerings, has wonderful tropical, slightly lychee-esque flavors augmented with the addition of St Germain liquer. Born in the rolling hills of the Pennsylvania Lehigh Valley, we carefully pluck these flowers from the tops of the trees allowing those lower down to develop into the berries that we use later in the year for our Elderberry Brandy jelly. Another jelly that could be considered a honey substitute, or used with soft cheeses to ammeliorate the funk. Drizzled over your morning pastry is another ideal situation that’ll wake up any weeked morning……brunch anyone?
