What sets OUR tomato sauces apart? let us count the ways…

The growing season is underway and we already have in stock our Tomato Basil, Capers & Olives, and Spicy & Smokey Sauces

1- We use PA grown tomatoes from a family owned farm in NorthUmberland where they crush, dice and can their tomatoes at the peak of freshness.

2- Our tomato-based sauces are NOT based on the regional Italian classics, but instead are inspired by my Sephardic roots. They all feature Leeks, Sumac and Fresh Lemon Juice. Use them in soups, stews, pasta dishes, with proteins, or enjoy them hot or cold (it makes an epic dip on a grazing board).

3- Our sauces contain NO ADDED SUGAR we use the freshest, sweetest tomatoes that taste great all on their own.

4- Our sauces start with Organic Tomato Paste which is carefully cooked slow and low with our holy trinity.

5- Our sauces feature ROASTED German Red Garlic which is truly our secret weapon – it caramelizes so perfectly and lends added sweetness and depth to our flavors.

6- MOST IMPORTANTLY it is made in small batches with by yours truly plus help from many many people and a few magical creatures in West Philadelphia
